I returned the item and it was received by Brownell's on 03/28/22, confirmed by an email they sent. One of them, a laser boresighter, was defective. I ordered 2 items from Brownell's 03/07/22. You can buy what they sell from any number of suppliers at the same cost - my advise would be to do that. I won’t use them anymore just based on how bad their customer service department is. They really need to tighten up their customer service. The reviews I’ve read about them is pretty accurate - they are decent until you have a problem and then trying to reach anyone who can help you is a joke. After some back and forth with them on chat I asked to cancel the order and went to a competitor and bought my scope. They told me Again I’d have to speak to someone live and confirmed the wait was about 4 hours. Several hundred ppl ahead of me and my estimated wait time was 4 hours! Tried live chatting again. They said I’d need to call and speak to someone live, but their customer service operators were gone and I’d have to call the next day. They told me they had a question about my order and needed to speak to me. After a few weeks when the scope didn’t arrive I thought I’d contact them (Brownells never reached out to me). They sell quality products at competitive prices. Good products….Worst customer service ever!!! I have spent many dollars at Brownells and have never had a problem. Take your business elsewhere because these guys are overpriced and their customer service is pure garbage! I will be reaching out to my credit card company next and telling them that Brownell's charged my credit card fraudulently. You can't call in without waiting 4+ hours because apparently there's always 300 people ahead of you in line (convenient if you never want to speak to people). I told them I'm not paying for the rifle and to cancel the order! Today I wake up to see my credit card was charged and the shipment is proceeding as planned (by them, not me). Few days later they ship the rifle and send me an invoice. I told them to cancel the order and I no longer wanted to do business with them. I then got an email telling me my order was on hold as they await FFL information. A few days later the charge disappears from my credit statement and still no word from Brownell's. I reached out to them on the 6th of June looking for an update on the shipment and never got a response from them. I ordered a rifle on the 1st of June this year. If brownells is that short staffed they need to hire alot more people as even other known bad online retailers have better service than this. Here we are almost 2 weeks later and nothing. Last week I was able to talk to someone by phone and I was told they're short staffed sorry they did recieve my item but I should get my refund either next week or the week following. I was able to send that trigger back last month and I have yet to get a refund. Calling by phone is hours long wait and they may not get back to you. After several attempts to reach brownells through email 2 separate inquiries were answered out of maybe 6. Brownells "new system upgrade" prevented me and customer support from canceling my item moments after ordering saying "my order was too far down the line to cancel." That was back in April. Accidentally ordered a wrong timney 2 stage trigger for my remington 700 and immediately tried canceling after I realized my mistake.
